Pen Box
Inspired by the hull lines of a sailing boat and the wooden pencil cases of the past. The form is low and tapered to a point at both ends, sitting flush on a desk without drawing attention to itself until you pick it up.
The box is in walnut, finished with hardwax oil. The lid opens on a round brass pivot inlay machined from solid stock, and the walnut deepens in colour with handling.
Winner of the Ray Leigh Design Award 2023, judged by the Gordon Russell Design Museum in Broadway, Worcestershire. Available for personalisation with up to two initials engraved in brass, at additional cost; get in touch to arrange before ordering.

Questions
What timber is used?
Walnut with a hardwax oil finish. No two boards are the same and the grain varies from piece to piece. Over time, the surface deepens in colour with handling.
Can I have initials engraved?
Yes, at additional cost. We engrave up to two initials in brass. Get in touch to arrange before placing your order.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. The hardwax oil can be refreshed with a thin coat every year or two if the surface looks dry.
What is the lead time?
Made to order. Usually two to three weeks from order to dispatch.
Do you ship internationally?
Free UK shipping on all orders. For international orders, contact us before placing your order to arrange shipping.
