Drawing Cabinet
An architect's plan chest with shallow drawers on modern soft-close runners, with an undulating curve running the full height. The carcases are elm, the drawer fronts rippled sycamore, the interiors unfinished beech, using conservation materials and finishes throughout.
The elm carcases have a pronounced grain that suits the architectural setting, and the rippled sycamore drawer fronts each have their own figure, catching light differently as you move past. The beech interiors are left unfinished, which breathes and ages well with paper and drawings. All finishes are conservation-grade: reversible, non-yellowing, and safe for long-term contact with documents.
